And He said, Now hear My words, If your prophet is of Jehovah, I will make Myself seen by him in an appearance; I will speak to him in a dream. Numbers 12:6 LITV

THE PROPHETS

YHWH speaks to prophet Moses face to face but to others in dreams

Numbers 12:6-8 ASV
(6) And he said, Hear now my words: if there be a prophet among you, I Jehovah will make myself known unto him in a vision, I will speak with him in a dream.
(7) My servant Moses is not so; he is faithful in all my house:
(8) with him will I speak mouth to mouth, even manifestly, and not in dark speeches; and the form of Jehovah shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?

Prophets also predict things to come to pass

Deuteronomy 13:1-5 ASV
(1) If there arise in the midst of thee a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and he give thee a sign or a wonder,
(2) and the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
(3) thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or unto that dreamer of dreams: for Jehovah your God proveth you, to know whether ye love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
(4) Ye shall walk after Jehovah your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
(5) And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death, because he hath spoken rebellion against Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of bondage, to draw thee aside out of the way which Jehovah thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put away the evil from the midst of thee.

Deuteronomy 18:20-22 ASV
(20) But the prophet, that shall speak a word presumptuously in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die.
(21) And if thou say in thy heart, How shall we know the word which Jehovah hath not spoken?
(22) when a prophet speaketh in the name of Jehovah, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which Jehovah hath not spoken: the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously, thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Yehoshua (Iesus) Messiah YHWH is also the prophet whom Moses prophesied was to come, who speaks to God Father face to face, who became flesh to speak to His people face to face without scaring them as he did in the desert, to teach them obedience.

John 6:45 ASV
It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught of God. Every one that hath heard from the Father, and hath learned, cometh unto me.

Isaiah 54:13 ASV
And all thy children shall be taught of Jehovah; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

Deuteronomy 18:15-18 ASV
(15) Jehovah thy God will raise up unto thee a prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
(16) according to all that thou desiredst of Jehovah thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of Jehovah my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.
(17) And Jehovah said unto me, They have well said that which they have spoken.
(18) I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee; and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

John 4:25 ASV
(25) The woman saith unto him, I know that Messiah cometh (he that is called Christ): when he is come, he will declare unto us all things.

Those who reject prophet Yehoshua Messiah YHWH will not be saved.

Deuteronomy 18:18-19 ASV
(18) I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee; and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
(19) And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

Is a rabbi a prophet, a god, since he is teaching others his own teachings concerning how to behave to please God an not classical Moses?

Mark 7:6-7 ASV
(6) And he said unto them, Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoreth me with their lips, But their heart is far from me.
(7) But in vain do they worship me, Teaching as their doctrines the precepts of men.

In Judaism (Moses and the Prophets), no one is allowed to codify anything. The Torah does not need any codification or adaptation for the edification of anyone.

No Prophet, no Apostle has ever sought to codify the Law of Moses. Why would other men engage in such endeavour?

Deuteronomy 4:1-2 ASV
(1) And now, O Israel, hearken unto the statutes and unto the ordinances, which I teach you, to do them; that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which Jehovah, the God of your fathers, giveth you.
(2) Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish from it, that ye may keep the commandments of Jehovah your God which I command you

Deuteronomy 5:31-33 ASV
(31) But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandment, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.
(32) Ye shall observe to do therefore as Jehovah your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.
(33) Ye shall walk in all the way which Jehovah your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.
